Will JobShifu make things up on my resume?
No, and this is the whole product. Every line of a tailored resume must cite real experience you confirmed in your Vault. If a line has no source, the resume fails to build before you ever see it. No source, no line. Not a warning, a failure.

Is JobShifu free to use?

Does JobShifu apply to jobs for me automatically?
No, on purpose. In independent public tests, fully autonomous apply bots returned zero interviews across hundreds of applications. Spraying does not work, and we will not sell it to you.
There is a deeper problem too: when an apply bot hits a question it cannot answer, it guesses, and you are the one who has to defend that guess in an interview. Where do the job postings come from?
Straight from the source: we crawl 10,000+ employer career sites and ATS boards first-party, so postings show up while they are still fresh, a median of 2.5 minutes after they appear. No scraped aggregator listings that turn out to be ghosts, expired, or reposts in disguise.
Will my resume get past ATS resume scanners?
Exports are built for machine reading: single column, no tables, no text boxes. The plain-text preview shows you exactly what an ATS parser sees, so nothing gets scrambled between you and the recruiter. And because tailoring matches the posting's real keywords with your real experience, you pass the scan honestly.
Why not just use ChatGPT to write my resume?
Because a chatbot only knows what you paste into it, and when it runs out of facts, it fills the gap. That is where the "5 years of Kubernetes" you never had comes from: not malice, missing context. What happens to my data if I leave?
It leaves with you. Your career data lives in a private vault tied to your account, and one click in Settings erases all of it. Deleting your account also cancels billing and removes your files. The details are in our privacy policy, written to be read.
